2 For the Road is a laid-back, dynamic and interactive acoustic trio playing songs you know and love in a completely new and fantastic way.  With close harmonies and unique sounds, 2 For the Road is an incredible band ready to entertain.  2 For the Road encourages audience participation, requests, and more - making it a fully immersive experience.  We may not be everyone's cup of tea, but we can definitely be your shot of whiskey!

Perfect for all venues, coffee houses, clubs, wineries, and private parties.  Sounds is controlled for volume and since there is only 3 of us, we don't take up much room!  We travel all over Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky!

Jon (The LOOKS) was born in Stuttgart, Germany in 1978. His dad was an Army Ranger and he was (and still is!) a brat-an Army brat. He started playing guitar at 13 and began to study classical guitar, music theory, composition, harmony, and songwriting at 16. He graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Early Education. He and his wife have been married since 2007 and have a beautiful daughter named Kate, who occasionally will come to a show and sing for you!

Brenda (The VOICE) is no stranger to the stage having fronted numerous bands and singing the National Anthem for many events in the Tri-State area.  Influenced by Pink, Karen Carpenter, and Trisha Yearwood her musical tastes are eclectic to say the least.

Shawn (The ENTERTAINMENT) has been hitting his drumsticks on things for years!!  Adding a soft beat and a great base to every song, he rounds out this acoustic trio perfectly.  Just don't ask for a drum solo...or do!

Jon and Brenda met years ago while in a small band performing in Southern Indiana, they knew there was vocal magic from the first time they met!  Putting together their talents into an acoustic trio just seemed like the right thing to do and when you hear them, you'll know it is!
